Christianity is forbidden in North Korea. Anyone seen with a Bible is automatically sent to labor camps (them and their family). But that didn’t stop Jeffrey Fowle from leaving his Bible in a North Korean Night Club. He left it under a trash can in the rest room hoping it would get to the underground Christian community. Authorities arrested Fowle after they discovered his name was written in the Bible. Six months later Fowles is released and is back home in Ohio. Fowle says he wouldn’t do it again because of what the time away would do to his family.
My Take:
WOW!!! What guts and courage – these are the things that the Spirit of God gives a person after they have SURRENDERED their life to Christ. Get a good look fellow Christians, people like this are furthering the Glory of GOD. Pray that more of us will stand up and do similar feats. Next time Jeffrey Fowle, cross out your name BEFORE leaving the Bible. Oh and North Korea, get a clue because God has been invading your country. (MP)

It’s not often that I post back to back days of Today’s/Favorite Verse.
For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
The left-side of a Billboard in Pennsylvania ( route 309 in the town of Wilkes-Barre) reads as follows: “I Love Sex”- God. This billboard was put up by the Restored Church as is meant to attract members to its new 3-part Bible marriage sex sermon from the Song of Solomon.
Pastor Dan Nichols of the (Restored Church) tells WNEP News 16 of Pennsylvania:
“It’s in every single sitcom. It’s on the radio. I mean, you go on any major news media outlet and there’s stories about sexuality,” Nichols said in an interview with WNEP News 16 in Pennsylvania. “If the culture can be so bold, I think the church can be so bold and speak directly on the subject and be up front about it.”
Now, let me get this out there. What in the world? God does not need to be sold with catchy headliners or by using secular methods. This sends the wrong message about God. This a two-prong problem. First, true Christians will not want to seduce people with sex just to get them into the seats. God has never done that in the Bible. Jesus, the Apostles or anyone in the Bible has never used sex to “sell” God. That is just misleading and plain wrong. Next, God doesn’t need to be sold. The Gospel is enough. The point of the Bible is to let us know that we are sinners headed for hell unless we embrace the gift of salvation. The Word is from God and is powerful enough to:
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12 (NASB)
The Word is “living and active” sharp enough to pierce the division of soul and spirit. Now do you think that God’s living Word–which created the Universe has to be bolstered by worldly methods like sex? God’s Living and Active Word is enough, more than enough. Using sex to sell God is misrepresentation and character defamation.

CNN has just declared Robin Williams died in a suicidal manner and cause of death (as of this writing) is from Asphyxia.
Jesus the Christ died in from the same cause. Let me explain…
While Robin Williams case is still under investigation, Jesus on the other hand is another matter.
Jesus died from what is called Positional Asphyxiation (medical terms, yeah I know).
